Job Description

What will you be doing?

We are seeking an ambitious Investment professional, to join Evelyn Partners to join our investment team in Dublin, as an Associate Director Investment Management.

In this pivotal role, you will lead investment initiatives, manage portfolio strategies, and drive performance across our client base. You will combine strategic vision with analytical rigor to deliver exceptional investment outcomes while overseeing a team of investment professionals.

This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week.

Qualifications

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and oversee investment portfolio management activities, ensuring alignment with client objectives and risk parameters
  • Develop and execute investment strategies that optimize returns while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions and strategic recommendations
  • Manage and mentor a team of investment professionals, providing guidance on best practices and performance expectations
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks
  • Prepare detailed performance reports and investment analytics for senior management and institutional clients
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their investment needs and delivering tailored solutions
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies within the investment management function
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk management, operations, and compliance to optimize investment processes
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance investment capabilities and market positioning

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • CFA/ QFA designation or equivalent professional certification 

  • Experience in investment management, portfolio management, or related financial services roles

  • Proven track record of successfully managing investment portfolios and delivering consistent performance results
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, investment modelling, and quantitative analysis
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing investment teams
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance in investment management
  • Advanced proficiency with investment management software platforms and financial analysis tools
  • Expert-level Excel skills with advanced financial modelling capabilities
  • Strong understanding of institutional investment products and client relationship management
  • Experience working in the Dublin or broader European investment market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for client and stakeholder engagement
  • Strategic thinking ability with a detail-oriented approach to investment analysis and decision-making
