Senior Engineer - Main Contractor

Role: Senior Engineer 

Projects: Large-scale Commercial, Pharma and Residential

Essentials: Engineering Degree; 3+ years' construction engineering experience in Ireland; Strong building and concrete frame experience.

Location: Projects in and around Cork city

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000

Reporting into: Project Manager

 

• Oversee engineering activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate Junior Engineers and subcontractors throughout the construction process.
• Carry out setting out, site surveys, and preparation of as-built drawings.
• Interpret engineering and construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Plan and coordinate site activities to ensure programme milestones and project deadlines are achieved.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
• Manage site records, material orders, and engineering documentation.
