Role: Senior Site Manager
Client: Main Contractor
Essentials: Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or Construction Management; 10+ years’ experience in healthcare / commercial / residential construction
Location: Cork
Salary: €80,000 - €90,000

Reporting to: Project Manager
- Lead and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring all works are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, and direct labour to drive productivity and maintain programme targets
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and key milestones
- Maintain and enforce health & safety standards in line with company procedures and statutory requirements
- Ensure high-quality delivery through regular inspections and robust quality control processes
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Engineers, and design team to align activities and resolve site issues
- Oversee site logistics, including materials and plant, to optimise procurement and resource utilisation
- Keep detailed daily records and progress reports, ensuring clear and consistent communication with senior management
- Assist in the identification and management of project variations alongside the team
- Chair site meetings, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to promote effective communication and coordination
